These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fennrise website, waitlist, and AI-powered productivity platform, including our AI assistant, planner, goal tracker, journal, opportunities feed, and dashboard (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Fennrise ("Fennrise," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our website or the Service, joining our waitlist, or otherwise indicating your acceptance, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years or older to join the waitlist or use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, to the extent required by applicable law. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. The Waitlist
Our current website allows you to join a waitlist by providing your name, email address, and role. Joining the waitlist:
- Does not guarantee access to the Service, a specific launch date, or any particular features.
- May entitle you to receive product updates, early-access invitations, and related communications from us.
- May be discontinued or modified by us at any time, without liability to you.
We use a third-party form provider (Formspree) to collect and process waitlist submissions on our behalf.

Fennrise is an AI-powered productivity platform intended to help students and young professionals plan, track, and pursue their goals through features that may include:
- An AI assistant for study help, scheduling, coding assistance, interview preparation, and productivity guidance
- A planner for calendars, timetables, study/work schedules, and reminders
- Goal-tracking tools, including milestones, habits, and streaks
- A journal for reflections, mood tracking, and private notes
- An opportunities feed surfacing scholarships, internships, jobs, competitions, and career events
- A dashboard summarizing your productivity metrics
Features, functionality, and availability may change over time, and not all features may be available at launch or in all regions.
4. AI-Generated Content and Recommendations
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, suggestions, and recommendations (e.g., study plans, answers to questions, opportunity matches). You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation.
- AI-generated content is provided for informational and productivity-assistance purposes only and does not constitute professional, academic, legal, financial, or career advice.
- You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it, including opportunity listings, interview guidance, or coding help.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any opportunity listings (e.g., scholarships, internships, jobs, competitions) surfaced through the Service, and you should independently verify such listings before applying or relying on them.
5. User Accounts (Future Service Use)
When account creation becomes available, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

- License to Us. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and use your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
- Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it and that it does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including on the waitlist).
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.

THE SERVICE (INCLUDING THE WAITLIST AND ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT) IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ACADEMIC, CAREER, MEDICAL, OR MENTAL HEALTH ADVICE. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A CRISIS OR NEED PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT, PLEASE CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL OR APPROPRIATE SUPPORT SERVICE.
11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fennrise and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the waitlist or the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service or request removal from the waitlist at any time by contacting us at fennrise@gmail.com. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.
14. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date, and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions within thirty (30) days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Nothing in these Terms shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights, confidential information, or other proprietary rights.
